Magnetic Keyboard Folio for Xiaomi Pad 7 / 7 Pro / 8 / 8 Pro 11.2-inch: Which Model It Fits, and Why the Touchpad Needs a Newer HyperOS
A magnetic keyboard folio turns a tablet into a small laptop, but only if it fits the right model and talks to the right software version - and both traps are easy to fall into. This case is cut for the 11.2-inch Xiaomi Pad 7, Pad 7 Pro, Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro; it will not fit the 12.4 or larger models, and an earlier Pad 6 or 6 Pro has a different chassis and camera cutout. Before ordering, check three things. First, your exact model and generation: the case is shaped per generation, so match the compatibility line to your own tablet rather than assuming every 11.2-inch Pad is the same. Second, the key layout language - this listing offers Spanish and German legends among others, and a layout that does not match what you are used to will slow your typing and cause errors. Third, the software, because the touchpad and multi-finger gestures depend on the tablet's OS: the listing states the touchpad needs tablet OS 15.0 or newer, so on an older HyperOS build you may get a working keyboard with a dead trackpad. The keyboard pairs over Bluetooth with a 10m range, carries a 500mAh battery charged over Type-C and has a seven-colour backlight, so it is genuinely usable in the dark. The magnetic back props the tablet at a viewing angle, but this is a typing folio for a desk or a lap, not a rugged case for a school bag - confirm the model list and the layout you will receive with the seller.
